Product Description

A close cousin to the TUR Carbon PRO, the TUR Skeleton PRO is also a rock-solid fixed-blade ultra-light hunting knife with a built in multi-tool handle.  The TUR Skeleton PRO comes in at a feather-light weight of 1.6 ounces.

What does it mean to go “skeleton”?  It means doing or accomplishing with only the bare minimum and with the most simple requirements while keeping the most vital functions operating.  With this same concept in mind, GOAT KNIVES brings the next in its innovative knife collection – the TUR Skeleton PRO.  They took simplicity to the max and built this knife with only the necessary components required to keep you in the backcountry longer and capable of breaking down your harvest.

TWO-PIECE PREMIUM BUILD

No different from other GOAT KNIVES, this knife was built of premium components to be backcountry bombproof.

The TUR Skeleton PRO is two pieces.  First, the ultra-strong and ultra-lightweight handle is machined from a single piece of titanium because titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all known metals.  Like we said, ultra-light and ultra-strong.

Just like the TUR Carbon PRO blade, the TUR Skeleton PRO blade is made from Nitro V steel with a Rockwell hardness of 62.  Rockwell hardness is a measurement of steel hardness and a rating of 62 is extremely durable and will hold an edge very long.  Nitro V steel uses nitrogen as the iron-hardener instead of carbon during the steel making process to make it extremely resistant to corrosion from moisture.  This blade is extremely durable, holds an edge very long, and is extremely corrosion resistant.  What more could you want!

STILL A MULTI-TOOL

Like other GOAT KNIVES, the handle has a cutout for our bit kit to use as a multi-tool.  Using the TUR Skeleton PRO handle and bits, you can tighten or repair scope rings, picatini rails, bow sights, limb bolts, arrow rests, tripods, base plates, and spotting scopes in the field while actually decreasing your pack weight with this tool. We call that a backcountry win-win.
