The Cimarron Light features one zippered door instead of the dual doors on the standard Cimarron. Stove placement is centered in the rear (where the second door zipper is on the standard Cimarron), meaning the two sides have equal room. The Light version saves 4-5 oz over the standard Cimarron with the removal of one door zipper and the switch to linelocs on the stake out points. The Cimarron Light makes very effective use of space. The footprint is such that it can still be used on many campground pads where space is often limited. The tent itself is closest to a slightly rectangular pyramid and sets up almost exactly the same as a pyramid, but with less wasted space. Slight tipi styling reduces flat sidedness and maximizes space. 4 adults can sleep across without a stove, and two adults can sleep lengthwise very comfortably.
