Job Description

We are looking for an hunting and outdoors enthusiast to join our team working as a technician to fulfill custom arrow orders placed on our BlackOvis.com website. Although job training is available, experience in the archery industry (especially with cutting, fletching, and wrapping arrows) is preferred.

Arrow Technicians are responsible to complete all steps necessary to prepare and build arrows in a timely and efficient manner according to custom specifications including cutting arrows, inserting factory inserts, and applying wraps, fletches/vanes, and nocks. They also are responsible for inventory management, specifically in receiving and maintaining correct inventory numbers, cycle counting, and informing buyers of low inventory needing replenish. If workflow ebbs for a time, they may also be asked to complete other assignments within the company as needed.

Responsibilities include

  • Cutting, inserting, wrapping, fletching, nocking, and preparing arrow orders for shipment, according to order specifications
  • Receiving, accounting for, and maintaining inventory. Helping our buying staff identify low quantities for re-order
  • Working at assigned tasks to help the company grow and/or maintain a high quality experience for customers.
  • Being able to work independently while staying on task, remaining focused, and completing builds within a timely manner without cutting quality from the build.

Customer Service Representative

We’d love to have an individual who can promote growth and maintain the health of our company while ensuring customers have the right products and services, and pitch potential customers knowledge of the products they seek or desire. We feel someone who can identify new markets and customer leads while handling inbound phone calls, emails, chats, and social media platforms would be ideal for this position. Responsibilities include

  • Have product knowledge to help guide customers to the correct gear they need (or being willing to learn).
  • Ability to present and sell products to generate revenue to achieve the yearly & monthly sales goals or incentives.
  • Provide swift resolutions to improve customer experience, help streamline our experience or service, and provide quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in the work platforms (Magento, Microsoft, Helpdesk, SkuVault, ShipStation)
  • Active and striving on phone, email and other company used forums/platforms
  • Provides help to customers in the storefront while keeping the storefront clean, organized, restocked, and cycle counted.
  • Keep track of personal metrics – warehouse chat, oversells, returns, storefront visits, sales, etc. . . on a team shared Google doc
  • Report common needs/problems/interests/questions heard from customers. Help carry out solutions, being proactive and productive to resolving issues.

Warehouse Fulfillment

Job Description

We are looking to expand our team, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The main focus of this job is shipping and fulfillment. However, the job can also include picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, managing inventory, and receiving, as needed.

About the Job

  • Work quickly to ship packages
  • Pick from and put away items on shelves
  • Help manage inventory and cycle count on a regular basis

Shift Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Some Saturdays required during peak season
  • All major holidays off

Expectations

  • Organization and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, be on feet for the entire work day and have the physical capabilities required to move, stand, lift, etc. . .expected of a warehouse job
  • Comfortable with typical warehouse machinery
  • Previous warehouse position is helpful, but not necessary

You will be expected to perform all the necessary functions of receiving, consolidating, and managing inventory in a team environment. Other duties in the warehouse such as picking, packing/shipping, and aiding with returns may also be required during high-volume seasons.
