The heart of the construction is the new Salewa Edging Plate, a special thermoplastic structure incorporated into the insole that runs across the entire length of the boot. The Salewa Ediging Plate combines flexibility and cushioning, ensuring comfort during long-duration hikes, with specific levels of stiffness and flex in the forefoot and heel to ensure targeted rigidity and greater stability. Furthermore, the exclusive Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® cables ensures a fit that supports the ankle and enveloping stability of the midfoot.
